We do not collect passwords, payment information, or financial account details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our Services, certain information may be collected automatically. This information generally does not directly identify you and may include:
- Log and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and date/time of your visit.
- Device data: Device type and browser settings.
- Location data: General geographic region inferred from your IP address. If you use the dealer locator and grant location permission in your browser, your location is used to assist with mapping and is subject to Google's privacy practices.
We collect this information through server logs, cookies, and Google Analytics. See Cookies and Tracking Technologies below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries. Information submitted through contact forms, feed recommendation requests, or dealer inquiries is used to respond to your request.
- To send the Key-Lix newsletter. If you opt in, we use your email address to send product updates and information. You may unsubscribe at any time.
- To process sponsorship applications. Information submitted through the All-Star Team application is used to evaluate and respond to your application.
- To post testimonials. If you submit a testimonial, it may be published on our website. We will not publish identifying contact information alongside a testimonial.
- To understand how our site is used. We use Google Analytics to analyze aggregate traffic patterns and visitor behavior to improve our Services.
- To protect our Services. We use Google reCAPTCHA to help detect and prevent automated spam submissions.
3. Data Processing
This section applies primarily to visitors located in Canada.
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), we process your personal information only when we have a valid legal reason to do so:
- Consent: We rely on your express consent to send the newsletter and to place analytics cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or by adjusting your cookie preference.
- Fulfillment of a service request: We process contact form submissions in order to respond to your inquiry.
- Legitimate business interests: We use aggregate analytics data to understand site performance and improve our Services.
In limited cases, applicable law may permit processing without consent — for example, to comply with a legal obligation or to prevent fraud.
4. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Google Analytics. We share usage data with Google Analytics to analyze use of the Services. Analytics data is only collected after you provide consent. You may opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which sends certain device and interaction data to Google for spam analysis. This is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps. Our dealer locator uses Google Maps. Use of location or address search features is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Email delivery. Form submissions and newsletter emails are routed through a third-party mail service. We do not authorize that provider to use your information for any purpose other than delivery.
- Business transfers. If Key-Lix LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your personal information may be included in that transaction. Notice will be provided via an updated Privacy Notice posted on this website.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose your information when required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

- Contact form submissions are retained in our records for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry.

7. Data Security
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information. All data transmitted between your browser and our Services is encrypted. We employ server-side security controls on all form submissions and take reasonable precautions to safeguard access to third-party services.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and use of our Services is at your own risk. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us has been compromised, please contact us at privacy@key-lix.com.
8. Children's Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us at privacy@key-lix.com and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Our All-Star Team sponsorship program is open to high school rodeo athletes, which may include individuals between the ages of 14 and 17. Application information — including name, date of birth, address, and contact details — is collected solely for the purpose of evaluating the application. This information is not shared with third parties and will not be used for marketing or any purpose unrelated to the sponsorship program. We encourage parents and guardians to review applications submitted by minor applicants prior to submission.
